I know this post is a little late, but all last week was our Spring Break Vacation and I had no will to do anything but relax. The break was 10 days long and it started Friday March 5th (early I know!). I was going to write this blog on the first day of break but I was eager to take a break, so I didn't do it. So I apologize :D Eventually however procrastination took over, and today I am finally writing this blog. Anyway, my Spring Break was nothing too exciting in case you were wondering. On Friday, I packed my bags and made way towards my Denver home. I was eager to see my family and old high school friends from back in the day. Unfortunately for me, all my old buddies were still in school and I was stuck at home with mom and pops for an entire week. Now that it was a bad thing but I was hoping for a more exciting spring break. If there are any CMC administrators out there reading, please make spring break in accordance with other colleges!
When I got back to Steamboat yesterday, I was in shock by how much snow had already melted. As I was driving down main street downtown, there were people in tank tops, shorts and flip flops walking down the street. I saw skiers in short sleeve shirts sweating their asses off. All the hills that faced the sun were muddy and snow melt streams were everywhere! Today I woke up to clear blue skies and temperatures well into the 50's. With that being said, I noticed the mini ramp was completely dried off and free of snow! I got some lunch and went down to the mini ramp. Boy was it a great feeling to get back on a skateboard again.
Check out this scenic picture of the mini ramp I took today!
This is a pic of the grass at the school! No more snow :(

So there you have it. Spring is official now in Steamboat. Lets hope we can make the best of the last few days on the mountain!
